The role and you
The Contracts Delivery Manager exists to ensure our procurement activities are aligned with the direction provided by our Commercial Partnerships Team and Waka Kotahi. You'll negotiate purchasing agreements and contracts, standardise our procurement practices and work with suppliers and third parties. Procurement at Wellington City Council also has a focus on enabling social, cultural, economic and environmental outcomes. You'll be someone with excellent communication skills, a great relationship builder, a deep understanding of broader outcomes (and how to acheive them) as wll as experience in procurement and contract management.
We're also looking for someone who has good working relationships with mana whenua and organisations such as Amotai.
The salary range for this role is $137,539 to $161,810.
