We’re on the hunt for a Contracts Manager (Sale & Purchase Agreements) to join our Christchurch team. This is a critical role where you’ll sit at the centre of our property transactions, ensuring everything runs smoothly, compliantly, and on time.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of property contracts - from drafting through to execution - while supporting advisors and ensuring a seamless client experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting, reviewing, and managing Sales & Purchase Agreements and agency agreements
- Identifying risks and ensuring contracts protect client and company interests
- Coordinating contract execution and maintaining accurate records and timelines
- Supporting advisors and CRM teams with contract queries and deal progression
- Managing AML requirements and documentation
- Ensuring compliance with REAA, REINZ, and internal standards
- Working closely with developers, lawyers, and internal stakeholders
- Supporting the Christchurch team with day-to-day operational delivery
What we’re looking for
This role suits someone who is highly organised, detail-focused, and commercially minded, with strong communication skills.
You’ll have:
- Experience in a Contracts Manager or similar role (property, legal, or development preferred)
- Strong knowledge of contract law and negotiation
- The ability to juggle multiple deals, deadlines, and stakeholders
- High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Confidence explaining legal concepts in plain English
- Strong tech and systems skills (e-signing tools, CRM systems, Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Excellent English language skills (written and verbal)
- Acceptable background checks
- Permanent Residency or New Zealand Citizenship
