About the role and who we are looking for:
We are looking for a Full-time Cook, Fixed term 6 months from May to end October 2024. Working 80.5 hours per week on and followed by week off (therefore 7 days on, 7 days off). Moving to Kawerau in June for 5 months returning to Taupo for 4 weeks.
What you will be doing?
- prepare, cook and present food
- receive store and kitchen supplies
- clean and maintain kitchen premises
- apply catering control principles
Ideal skills and experience you will have:
- Is a great team player,
- Is a self-starter, who is able to work on their own and set self-goals
- Has initiative.
- Accommodation may be provided for someone that lives out of town during working weeks
