ABOUT THE COMPANY
We are well-established in the Financial Services Sector. New Zealand owned and operated company based in Auckland who specializes in Personal Finance Nationwide. We pride in our customer satisfaction and we believe in empowering our staff so they are motivated to provide outstanding customer service to our clients.
We are looking for a new Credit Controller to be part of our Credit & Collection Management Department, reporting to the Branch Manager.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The roles include credit management, collection to write-off level and relationship building. It requires exceptional customer service, clear communication skills and the ability to multi-task. We require a self-managed individual with a background in solutions and outcomes
Experience with inbound and outbound collections calls, an eye for detail, an investigative mind and a drive for problem solving. You'll be able to think and act quickly, find solutions, implement processes and negotiate arrangements confidently.
As part of our Credit Management Team, you will be managing a ledger. You will be contacting clients, therefore your initiative in picking up the phone and work with account holders to regain control of their finances is important. You will work with clients by putting plans and arrangements in place in order for positive outcomes and results.
KNOWLEDGE of the Legislations & Regulations surrounding these roles is a must. Eg: CCCFA 2003, CREDIT REPOSSESSION ACT 1997, PRIVACY ACT 1993 & THE RESPONSIBLEL ENDING CODE etc
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
To be successful in this role we are looking for the following key attributes:
• Extensive experience in a high volume credit management role.
• A proven track record in performing all credit control functions whilst maintaining customer relations are vital.
• Ability to provide consistent service and take responsibility for your actions.
• A self-motivated superstar with excellent negotiation skills
• Someone with the grit and resilience to get the job done whilst providing achievable results
• A self-starter who will own the role with very little supervision
• Logical Thinker with Business Acumen who can also think outside the box.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent computer skills with Fin Power or Fin Connect experience.
• A team player with excellent phone manner & Problem solving skills
• To have INITIATIVE and a CAN DO WILL DO ATTITUDE.
• To be able and willing to work in a team environment and pitch in where required.
A SENSE OF HUMOUR IS A MUST as well as the ability to laugh at yourself.
Salary will be paid according to experience.
