Credit Controller 

Gilrose Finance is a privately owned finance company which has been an integral part of the personal and retail loan landscape of New Zealand for over 30 years. Our accounts team is a small and friendly team which is mainly responsible for reaching out to and responding to customers who are behind in their payments or are overdue. We aim to work with customer’s in a compassionate and efficient manner so we can make their finance experience as easy as possible. 

We are looking for a full-time credit controller to join our friendly accounts team. In this role you will: 

• Manage and monitor overdue loans and outstanding payments 
• Make outbound calls and emails to customers who have overdue loans and collaboratively work with them to bring their loan back up to date
• Take inbound calls and respond to emails from customers with overdue loans and general inquiries 
• Undertake background research on customer’s who are overdue 
• Adhere to CCCFA legislation about Responsible Lending 
• Working with colleagues, within the accounts team and those who work in other departments, to come up with out of the box solutions to any potential problems or issues

• Competent at using computers
• Team-oriented and will work well in a team environment
• Eager to learn new skills 

While relevant work experience is an advantage, it is not a requirement. This is an entry level position and you will be trained in the first few weeks of employment. 

This is a full-time position  Monday to Friday. 

You will be joining a collaborative team and a friendly workplace which is close to public transport (Constellation bus station) and lunch options such as cafes. Once you have joined our team, there will be opportunities to up-skill and to take on more responsibility if you show initiative and the desire to rise to the challenge.
