We are on the lookout for a multi-skilled customer service admin superstar who is enthusiastic, has a can-do attitude, brims with energy, and enjoys a good laugh to join our Whangārei-based team.

Founded in 2016 with Giftbox Boutique, we revolutionized the gifting scene with a modern take on the traditional gift box. Our rapid growth made us NZ’s #1 gift box brand, and in 2021 and 2022, we earned spots in the Deloitte Fast 50 of NZ’s fastest-growing companies.
In 2021, we launched our own food & beverage range (Gather & Graze), and in 2022, we introduced Little & Luxe, a second gift box brand, all under The Gift Group umbrella.

What we’re looking for:
We're seeking a customer service admin star to join our team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll be the face and voice of our companies. Your core responsibility will be customer service and managing all aspects related to it. A love for dealing with people and a passion for creating the best customer experience is a must.
The role requires energy, initiative, and the ability to think on your feet. During peak seasons, it’s busy – you’ll need to get stuck in and help where required. Don’t worry; you’ll have a supportive team, and with the right attitude, you’ll fit right in.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering phones with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Efficiently handling customer queries following our Standard Operating Procedures
- Processing orders quickly and accurately
- Collaborating with the wider team daily to ensure streamlined order and query management
- Having fun with the team
The ideal candidate will offer:
- At least 2 years of experience in a customer service role
- An admin background, with strong computer skills
- Undeniable drive and passion to be part of a high-performing NZ brand and team
- Excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach
- Strong communication skills
- Pragmatic and results-oriented mindset
- Ability to multi-task and work flexibly and proactively within a small team
- Effective time and priority management
- Quick learning ability
- A big-picture perspective and understanding of how their role impacts other team members
