About the team

Operating from our office in Hamilton, our high performing Customer Service Team provides support across a large portfolio of internal and external customers. Reporting directly to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience by answering customer calls, processing customer orders and resolving customer queries. This is an intense but rewarding role and vital to the success of the Ecolab organisation.

About the role:

  • Friendly, close knit team
  • Based in our Hamilton office
  • Process incoming customer orders and complete order confirmations
  • Take ownership of orders and inquiries submitted via all ordering channels and ensure they are processed within the service timeframes to ensure maximum customer satisfaction through one-call resolution
  • Internally communicate information received from our customers to the relevant Ecolab teams
  • Perform general customer service-related administrative duties such as providing copies of invoices, proof of delivery and technical information sheets
  • Participate in regular team meetings, process improvement projects and training

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Great initiative, with the drive to solve problems
  • Excellent phone and email manner with the ability to take ownership of the role
  • Attention to detail, ability to organise and priorotise effectively in order to achieve our service KPI’s
  • The ability to deal with high volumes of customer calls, orders and queries
  • Work cohesively within a team environment

Technically speaking you will have:

  • Intermediate computer skills including MS Excel and outlook
  • Customer Service/Clerical experience with some exposure to data entry
  • An understanding of ERP systems, experience of JD Edwards or SAP would be advantageous
