Customer Service Representative – Milton Clinic 
Permanent Part-Time 

We have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and motivated Customer Service Representative to join VetSouth’s rural clinic in Milton! This is your chance to be part of an exciting new chapter, helping us build strong client relationships and make a real impact in the local community. 

In this varied role, you’ll work closely with our Clinic Coordinator and clinical teams to provide top-notch customer service, keep the clinic running smoothly, and ensure our clients feel welcomed and supported. 

This role will be primarily based in Milton from Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 2:30pm, with two full days per week worked out of our Balclutha clinic (8:30am – 5:30pm), offering variety and exposure across both locations. 

About the Role: 
This role will primarily be farmer focussed ensuring we have what they need when they need it in-store and in future will grow into:  

• Retail and inventory tasks – keeping products well-stocked and displays eye-catching 

• Booking production animal and companion animal consultations and surgeries 

• Providing administrative support to vets and technicians 

You’ll also play a key part in: 

• Engaging with the local community and building lasting client relationships 

• Contributing to marketing, merchandising, and clinic events 

• Health & Safety as both the clinic’s Health & Safety Representative and Fire Warden. 
  

About You: 
We’re looking for someone who thrives on a new challenge, is self-motivated and is excited about helping us grow our presence in Milton. You’ll bring: 

• At least 3 years’ experience in a customer-facing role 

• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office confidence is a bonus!) 

• A passion for rural NZ communities and knowledge of the farming industry 

• Great communication and relationship-building skills 

• A proactive, organised approach with excellent attention to detail 

Previous experience in agri-retail or agri-business is an advantage but not essential if you’re keen to learn and bring a great attitude.
