We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Retail Customer Service Representative / Parts Advisor to join our team in Hornby, Christchurch.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with customer enquiries from the shop and walk in retail sales. Ensuring customers get technical advice and recommendations to suite their requirements.
• Answering phone enquiries and taking wholesale orders when required
• Keeping the showroom clean and tidy and restocked (this may be daily if required). Advising of items that require reordering.
• Ensuring the outside appearance of the shop, yard area and windows are clean and tidy.
• Answering internet enquiries and general emails and pricing up products for customers.
• Correct labelling and pricing of items in the showroom.
• Maintaining a customer database from email enquiries and sending out newsletters when required.
• Ensuring Workshop jobs are booked and parts allocated.
• Help other departments when required

Our ideal candidate will be a team player, have great communication and customer service skills, and be well presented. You will need at least a restricted drivers licence and have a good level of physical fitness as some heavy lifting will be required.

Previous experience or an interest in the automotive industry would be helpful, however full training and support is available for someone who is keen to learn.

This is a full time opportunity working Monday - Friday and occasional Saturday mornings. A competitive salary is on offer aligned with the skills and experience you bring to the role.
