We're searching for a talented and highly efficient person to take the reins of the Customer Service and related administration functions of the business. This role will really appeal to someone who loves to juggle multiple tasks, whilst remaining focused on delivering exceptional service to a wide variety of customers. About the role: - You'll be the first point of contact for customers calling and emailing in to place orders, make stock enquiries and requiring pricing and quotes
- Monitor customer credit limits and monitor overdue debtors
- Manage freight and timely delivery to customers - tracking and tracking in-transit orders, resolving any damaged freight issues, arranging unloading of containers etc
- Pricing and quoting - manage the company's master pricing file, generate customer pricelists, enter promotional and discount pricing, manage end user pricing and invoicing, generate customer proposals
- Generate regular sales, stock and quarterly customer reports
- Assist with organising travel/trade events as required
About you: - Experience in a similar role encompassing the customer service and pricing aspects would be highly beneficial
- You love to multi-task, and excel at juggling your workload in order of priority - never ruffled by incoming customer calls that need attending to (no matter what you're doing at the time!)
- You have excellent computer skills - intermediate Excel, knowledge of Powerpoint and exposure to Adobe Acrobat (for pricelists etc)
- You are a true support personality - you gain the most satisfaction from your role when you know you have happy customers, a highly accurate standard of work and you finish the day with a clear 'to do' list
- Exposure to a manufacturing environment would be an advantage, however is not essential for the right person
