Role summary
Due to the incumbent emigrating, we're seeking an experienced Customer Services and Sales Support Team Leader based in Onehunga, Auckland, to join our rapidly expanding team and contribute to enhancing our stellar reputation nationwide. Your role will involve leading a small multi-functional team across sales, customer service, service/repairs and dispatch. You’ll also operate in the sales support team, delivering exceptional sales and customer support to both prospective and current clients, including engaging in phone-based sales activities. This unique opportunity allows you to showcase your talents by connecting with existing customers and welcoming new ones from diverse backgrounds.
While stationed in Onehunga, you'll work with the team in handling regular phone and web inquiries from across New Zealand, with occasional international calls from the Pacific Islands. The role also involves proactive outbound sales calling efforts, along with internal communication among colleagues and coordination with external service providers like freight companies. The role also involves meeting customers face to face each day when they visit our showroom.

Skills and Experience
You must bring to the table exceptional experience and aptitude across Sales Support or Customer Service roles. Your communication skills should be robust, complemented by a friendly yet persuasive approach.
Self-discipline is vital, as is your ability to grasp and manage various systems effectively. Confidence in interacting with clients across all organizational tiers, from entry-level personnel to boardroom executives, is essential.
Being technologically adept is imperative; you should be well-versed in ERP systems and eager to quickly adapt to new software with minimal guidance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel, is a prerequisite.
Other requirements
Able to work from 8 – 5 Monday to Friday in Onehunga.
You will ALREADY hold either a NZ Residence Visa or NZ / Australian Citizenship and currently live in New Zealand. (No exceptions to this requirement).
Hold a full NZ drivers Licence.
