Job Description - Customer Services Representative

Walter & Wild is not your typical FMCG company. We are a New Zealand Food Manufacturing company with a substantial portfolio of iconic brands including Aunt Betty’s, Hubbards, Vitafresh, Vitasport, Hansells, I Love Food Co., Greggs, Alfa One, Movenpick (NZ and AU), Killinchy Gold, NZ Natural, Zilch and Chateau. 



About the role:


The Customer Service Representative role offers an exciting opportunity where your primary focus will be delivering exceptional service to our clients/customers across New Zealand and Australia. This onsite position is to manage export and domestic orders while providing outstanding customer support and inquiries in a timely and efficient manner to our customers and internal teams.


 


Key Responsibilities:



  • Process customer orders (via EDI, E-Mail, website) before scheduled cut-off times.

  • Communicate stock discrepancies, out-of-stock items, and delivery delays.

  • Ensure accurate export documentation and timely communication with customers, consolidators, and internal teams.

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and social media, maintaining professionalism.

  • Manage consumer feedback and ensure timely responses to all inboxes.

  • Maintain accurate records and provide monthly reports on consumer feedback and KPIs.


 


Key Skills & Experience:



  • 2 years previous experience in customer service experience gained from within a high-volume sales environment, preferably in the FMCG industries or Export & Freight.

  • Previous experience in order processing or customer service, preferably in an export environment.

  • Strong knowledge of export documentation, logistics, and customs processes.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and order management systems.

  • The ability to multi-task within an ever-changing environment

  • Excellent time management skills with experience in high-pressure environments
