The brand
pH7 have been going strong for 25 years and went through a rebrand in 2022 (we were known as Dalton International); moving into our brand-new, purpose-built facility in Highbrook, Auckland.
We are a family-owned company with a small, dedicated team all working towards our purpose of preventing harm from hazardous substances, protecting people and the environment.
The role
The focus of this role is to provide excellent customer service to our clients and to liaise with our cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions.
This is a critical and autonomous support role and you are the essential link between our customer and our internal sales and warehouse teams.
We have big plans for the scope of this role and see the right candidate in time growing into a managerial role within the function.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
● Invoicing customers promptly (Accounts Receivable), handling customer credits
● Generating monthly customer statements
● Reconciling customer payments, managing customer rebates
● Accounts Payable
● Bank reconciliations
● Dealing with customer queries around pricing/delivery/lead-times
● Being the welcoming face of pH7 in the reception area.
What do you need to have?
A genuine passion for customer service goes without saying. Your positive and enthusiastic manner will be appreciated by both clients and colleagues alike.
Your day will be spent interacting with people so excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential.
You will be well organised, with tons of initiative and in possession of great time management skills.
Slick computer skills are vital and your attention to detail and accuracy with data entry will be top notch. Proficiency in ERP software and a head for numbers will be an advantage.
You will have a full handover for this role by the incumbent who is moving upwards into our Sales Team. You will also be supported by other team members but must be fearless to jump into this role - we need someone with a real can-do attitude who can multi-task and who is well able to work autonomously.
You will have at least two years’ experience in a similar customer-focused, administrative/accounting environment.
