The Opportunity | Te āheinga
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional service and helping make our district an even better place to live, work, and play?
We’re looking for a permanent, full-time Customer Support Officer to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. Based in the Civic Centre, our Customer Support team is the friendly face and first point of contact for everyone who walks through our doors.
In this role, no two days are the same. You’ll support our community with a wide range of enquiries - from rates, parking and dog registrations to refuse and recycling, consents, licences, property information, general queries and much more. If you enjoy variety, problem-solving, and interacting with people from all walks of life, this could be the perfect fit for you.

Essential Skills and Experience | Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako
To be successful in this role you will need previous customer service experience combined with professional communication skills, both written and verbal. You will have excellent computer skills, competency in problem solving and an unstoppable positive 'can do' attitude. You'll need an eye for detail, be able to think on your feet, be great under pressure and a multitasker. We are looking for someone who is resilient, willing to learn and able to adapt to each day as it unfolds.
