Job Description - Customer Support Specialist

Your role and responsibilities

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be the link between our customers and operations team, handling order processing and customer support through the entire delivery cycle.

Key responsibilities:

  • Process sales orders into SAP and provide customer support from order entry to shipping
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat
  • Resolve product or service issues and escalate unresolved matters to internal teams
  • Maintain customer records and documentation of interactions
  • Support continuous process improvement and team backup duties
  • Ensure compliance with ABB Code of Conduct and HSE standards

Our team dynamics

You will work within a dynamic customer support team, reporting to your team manager. You'll collaborate across operations, sales, and product teams in a customer-centric environment that values continuous improvement and teamwork.

Qualifications for the role

  • Extensive SAP knowledge with hands-on order processing experience
  • Strong customer service background with proven phone, email, and chat support
  • Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to master business systems
  • Distribution or electrical product industry experience is preferred, but not essential
  • Knowledge of electrical products and power distribution would be ideal
