About the Role

The Cybersecurity Consultant - IAM & PAM (Identity and Access Management /Privileged Access Management) is an invaluable member of our New Zealand Cybersecurity Advisory team, positioned in the vibrant city of Wellington. This role offers the rewarding opportunity to spearhead the planning, construction, and ongoing enhancement of IAM/PAM capabilities for our customers. As the role is deeply embedded in the local environment, our ideal candidate will be situated in Wellington, ensuring seamless collaboration and effectiveness.

This person will join an established team that assesses and matures the IAM/PAM capabilities for our customers with the goal of managing security and risk, improving business agility, improving user experience, and improving efficiency.

The successful applicant will have the exciting opportunity to collaborate and gain valuable insights from a diverse group of talented colleagues and industry leaders within Cybersecurity.

What you’ll do (Your Why)

• Play an integral role in strategizing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge IAM/PAM solutions.
• Thoroughly analyze and understand the business and technical requirements of our customers.
• Create and review comprehensive technical documentation, shaping business processes.
• Contribute to the design phases of IAM/PAM solutions, utilizing your expertise to enhance solution architecture.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, bridging the gap between business, technology, and project management.
• Offer post-implementation support for newly-integrated solutions.
• Demonstrate expertise in the Identity and Access Management field, staying updated on current complexities, future requirements, and industry best practices.

What you’ll bring:

As an experienced professional, you’ll be a success-driven individual who is passionate about technology and using it to deliver great customer outcomes. You’ll have experience working in a Consulting environment (ideally Professional Services) designing and implementing Cybersecurity Identity & Access Management solutions. You will be comfortable engaging with all levels of customers from technical staff through to executives and your attention to detail will ensure your deliverable are of the highest standards.

Ideally, your Technical Skills will encompass some or all of the following, which will be supported with several of the corresponding vendor certifications:

• Sailpoint
• One Identity
• Saviynt
• Okta
• Microsoft Identity Manager
• CyberArk PAM
• OneIdentity SafeGuard
• Experience in Azure Identity (Internal and External) and Microsoft Identity Manager would be advantageous.
• Exhibit a strong passion for Cybersecurity, with proven knowledge or certifications such as SC900, SC300, MS500, AZ500.

You will possess exceptional communication and analytical problem-solving skills, capable of explaining Identity and Access Management concepts to stakeholders and partners. and be able to showcase self-motivation, focus, and a results-oriented approach, excelling both in independent and collaborative settings.
