Cybersecurity Specialist (Csirt)

Kia ora!Air New Zealand is on an accelerated journey to become the world's most digital airline and to create a team that is envied by airlines around the world.The Air New Zealand Digital team is at the core of this journey, where you will design, create, and promote digital experiences that connect and support millions of travellers each year.We are currently looking for a strong Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team.What will you be working on?Design, develop and maintain Incident Response playbooks.Develop and maintain expertise in emerging threats and technology trends around cybersecurity with the focus being the transport and aviation sector.Assist with the development of Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR) playbooks and act as the automation SME to translate manual processes into automated workflows.Assist with the development of Cloud focused incident response processes across various cloud platforms.Assist in and maintenance of Incident Response frameworks, including the design and implementation of standards, procedures, and knowledge base articles.Assist in daily security operations and responding to various incidents.To be successful in this role we are looking for the following: Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate cybersecurity concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Experience with Endpoint and Network security tooling and analysis to identify threat behaviour and appropriate responses.Exposure to Microsoft Active Directory concepts such as domains, group policy objects, and permissions.Experience conducting threat hunts and searches in a SIEM technology, articulating a threat chain, and crafting a SIEM query to detect the presence of said activity.Passionate and looking to expand your existing Cyber security experience?
