Here at 3R Group we have an exciting opportunity as a Data and Systems Analyst to join our friendly and growing team.  

What we need

Data analytics has the power to transform the way that 3R works with its external and internal customers. Imagining, innovating, and implementing analytical solutions allows 3R to harness data in the development of our product stewardship programmes and sustainability services that are meaningful. 

Some of the core tasks include: 

• Data acquisition from external customers and agencies 
• Receive and review data models
• Maintain data and security and privacy
• Prepare software scoping reports, manage RFQ process with external providers, project management build, user acceptance testing, and implementation for external customers
• Manage the financial aspects of projects
• Project management of assigned projects
• Build Mass Balance Data models including as part of the data and systems team and project teams, working with the CE and Finance Manager to deliver the financial modelling. 
• Overview of all 3R IT systems to understand their whole relationship with each other to avoid duplication or to maximise use
• Prepare written papers, guiding documents, user guides and policies and procedures
• Working within a team to provide in-depth analysis accompanied by a written report showing insights, trends, and impacts
• Working with teams such as Marketing and Communications and Finance to help develop reports – contributing data and analysis as needed

 Skills and experience

We’re looking for someone with intermediate experience – someone who is experienced enough to sink their teeth into projects and hit the ground running. Key skills include:

• Data analysis
• Design and develop smart business solutions from complex data sources
• Power BI and Advanced MS Excel
• Clear communication skills – understanding the needs of stakeholders and communicating complex ideas to the team
• Enjoy working in a heavy team-focused environment
