Data Architect - Contract - Urgent

Collada has been engaged by a client that is going through some relatively major change initiatives. They have a relatively small data architecture practice and need to engage an architect on an initial 6 month contract. Due to the nature of the practice, they need a data architect that can operate across the conceptual, logical and physical layers of architecture. With the practice still in its infancy there is a lot of scope to mature data within the organisation.

This organisation is a heavy user of Azure and require this data architect to have experience with Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shape and contribute to their Data Strategy and Roadmap, ensuring it reflects the organisation's aspirations and strategic goals.
• Design, develop, and implement data models for enterprise-level applications and systems, with a hands-on approach.
• Oversee technical governance, ensuring data integrity across the organisation, while actively participating in the architecture work.
• Collaborate with business units, IT stakeholders, and external partners to deliver robust and efficient data services, providing both strategic insight and detailed technical contributions.
• Lead the charge in advancing data technologies and practices, staying at the forefront of industry developments.

Essential Skills:

• Demonstrated mastery in Azure cloud services and data architecture.
• Extensive experience in data governance, data modelling, and developing data strategies.
• Proficiency in leading data architecture governance forums and making pivotal data governance decisions.
