Data Engineer

Data Engineer – GCP | BigQuery | Fusion

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer for a contract role, working within a modern Google Cloud data environment. You will be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines, integrating data from multiple sources, and ensuring data is reliable and available for downstream analytics and reporting.

What we’re looking for

• Strong commercial experience as a Data Engineer


• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)


• Strong BigQuery experience, including complex SQL and data modelling


• Experience with Cloud Data Fusion for building and managing data pipelines


• Experience developing and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines


• Strong SQL skills


• Experience integrating data from multiple systems and data sources


• Understanding of data quality, performance and optimisation


• Ability to work independently and deliver in a contract environment
