About the Role
As a Data Scientist, you will leverage advanced analytics techniques to extract insights from complex datasets, develop predictive models, and drive data-driven decision-making across the organisation. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and translate them into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in large datasets.
Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to predict trends and outcomes.
Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and validate models.
Manage external providers of data science solutions as required.
Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Work closely with business managers to integrate analytical insights into products and services.
Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics.
Experience with Machine Learning
Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, and experience with SAAS platforms.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work with large and complex datasets.
Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Hive.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) techniques and tools.
Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
