About the Role

As a Data Scientist, you will leverage advanced analytics techniques to extract insights from complex datasets, develop predictive models, and drive data-driven decision-making across the organisation. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and translate them into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in large datasets.
• Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to predict trends and outcomes.
• Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and validate models.
• Manage external providers of data science solutions as required.
• Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Work closely with business managers to integrate analytical insights into products and services.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics.
• Experience with Machine Learning
• Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, and experience with SAAS platforms.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work with large and complex datasets.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Hive.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
• Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) techniques and tools.
• Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
