About the role

As a Day Ops crew, you will manage the loading and unloading of cargo at our depot, with safety and efficiency at the forefront of all that you do. Our Day Ops team members are essential to ensuring we are providing outstanding and timely service to our customers in the delivery of their freight, so it’s also essential that you have a strong work ethic and enjoy working in fast-paced environments.

Hours for this role are 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at our Christchurch Branch.

Responsibilities (but are not limited to) include

• Loading/unloading of cargo


• Commitment to Health and Safety and maintaining the cleanliness of the depot


• Teamwork and communication in the operations team to ensure efficient freight-sorting processes

About you

• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential


• Physical fitness – the ability to lift up to 25kgs and work on your feet


• Sound knowledge of local/regional NZ geography


• A forklift license is desirable
