Dealer Principal - Bay of Plenty

We have a brand new dealership, a great team, with world class agricultural and construction brands. Now we need a superstar to drive our next phase of growth.

We are looking for a forward thinking, experienced and energetic Dealer Principal to join our national wide Power Farming family. We want you to lead our awesome team of talented experts to the next level.

Power Farming is New Zealand's leading independent privately-owned importer and retailer of agricultural equipment and JCB Construction equipment, with a history of three-generations serving the New Zealand, Australian and United States markets. World leading brands including Deutz Fahr, JCB, Kverneland, Merlo, Kioti and McHale backed by exceptional back up and support ensure that we are a supplier of choice for successful farmers and contractors throughout New Zealand.

What we are looking for:

As a Dealer Principal, reporting directly to the CEO, you will bring a wealth of knowledge and commercial acumen that is needed to manage a busy dealership. You will be a natural leader with a proven track record and able to bring the best out in all members of your team. You will have strong operational experience - preferably in capital equipment - and knowledge of service and parts departments. You have a passion for agriculture and a drive to achieve total customer satisfaction.

We are also looking for the following skills:

• Strong business acumen and understanding of retail operational and commercial matters.
• Excellent financial management ensuring profitability and sustainable growth through sound budgeting, reporting and management of cost.
• A sound understanding of the local rural sector and construction industry.
