How you’ll make an impact

In this combined Dental Assistant & Receptionist role, you’ll be an integral part of our team, supporting clinicians and ensuring patients enjoy a seamless, welcoming experience. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist our experienced dentists during a variety of procedures, maintain strict infection control and instrument sterilisation, manage stock, and contribute to the smooth running of the practice.

As a Receptionist, you will be the friendly face and voice of our practice. You’ll assist patients with enquiries, manage bookings, handle payments and banking, and perform administrative tasks to keep the practice running efficiently. Every day brings new challenges, and you’ll experience the satisfaction of helping patients leave with a smile.

Your schedule:

• Monday: Medford House 7:30 – 5:15 (Dental Assistant)
• Tuesday: Medford House 7:30 – 6:15 (Dental Assistant)
• Wednesday: Medford House 7:30 – 5:15 (Dental Assistant)
• Thursday: Medford House 7:45 – 6:15 (Dental Assistant)
• Alternate Fridays: Dinsdale 8:15 – 3:15 (Receptionist)
• Week 1: 44.25 hours | Week 2: 37.75 hours

Your experience and approach

Your greatest assets are a warm, positive attitude and a strong team spirit! While previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, we are happy to train the right candidate. Additional skills and qualities include:

• Sterilisation and/or customer-facing experience
• Excellent attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Computer literacy and the ability to learn quickly
• Outstanding communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
