Design and Build Sales Consultant

We are expanding our sales profile across the Bay of Plenty. We are looking for a passionate Sales Consultant who can convert leads to contracts, drive our sales profile and represent the Mike Greer Homes brand locally and regionally. We have a strong stock of turnkey houses to market as well as our house and land offering and customer design and build enquiries.

You will be based at our Tauranga showhome or office and rostered at our showhomes on weekends and during afternoons throughout the week, but you will be able to cover any sales opportunities across the Bay and neighbouring areas. Sales enquiries will be channelled to this role to develop and convert to successful relationships and contracts.

This position is an independent contractor role with sales autonomy and a commission-based structure, with a temporary transitionary retainer available. It will suit someone who has a positive and energetic nature, who relishes dealing with people and building excellent business relationships, and who is driven by targets and earning potential.  Your goal will be outstanding service delivery and a successful client experience. 

The successful candidate will be able to drive their own profile in the market. You should have a background in sales and business development in high-value, long term sales environments, and previous experience in residential housing sales and/or design and build sales is preferable. You should have excellent communications and networking skills, and a proven and determined ability to influence and convert introductions to business relationships and sales. 

This role will give you the platform to source new business prospects, and build relationships based on trust, integrity and delivery. You can drive your own working week to capitalise on opportunities whilst meeting or exceeding business targets and goals.
