Design Systems Lead - Fast Hire

We are seeking a contract Design Systems Lead (UX/UI) to join a leading name in the insurance industry. You will be joining a dynamic environment where technology and customer service converge to enhance user experience, catering to a wide range of brands under its umbrella.

As a Design Systems Lead, you will spearhead the development and governance of comprehensive design systems that support multiple brands. This strategic role is pivotal in automating design processes and scaling internal capabilities, aiming to render the position obsolete by the end of the contract through self-sufficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable design systems across multiple brands.
• Provide governance and establish robust processes in collaboration with project and BAU teams.
• Offer hands-on design expertise and technical guidance.
• Enhance and coach internal teams to elevate design and operational competencies.
• Collaborate with brand and marketing teams to standardize design components and reusable content.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Proven expertise in UI/UX design and management of design systems.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in team development and coaching.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams across multiple brands.
• Strong analytical skills with a flair for creative problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
