Diesel Automotive Technician - Seaview

About the role

As a Diesel Automotive Technician at Keith Andrews Trucks Ltd, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing the diesel-powered vehicles that are the lifeblood of our business. This full-time position is based in our Seaview location, where you will use your expertise to keep our business operating at peak performance.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnose and repair diesel engine faults and malfunctions


• Carry out scheduled servicing and maintenance on diesel trucks and heavy equipment


• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems


• Demonstrate a deep understanding of diesel engine technology and its associated components


• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients


• Maintain detailed records of all work completed


• Contribute to a safe and efficient workshop environment

What we're looking for

• Qualified diesel automotive technician with a minimum of 3 years' NZ experience


• Strong technical skills and proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines


• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail


• Good communication skills and customer service orientation


• Commitment to safety and compliance with industry regulations


• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
