Digital Light Motor Assessor

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional with excellent relationship and people skills to join our high performing Claims Partnerships & Services team as Digital Light Motor Assessor based in Auckland or Christchurch. Ideally, you’ll have at least 5 years’ experience in insurance claims, with broad and deep knowledge of the smash repair industry, including the current shifts, trends, and technology used in the repair of motor vehicles and machinery. You’ll have excellent technical understanding of motor claims and processes, and a genuine desire to build great supplier relationships and deliver great outcomes for our end customers. You will also have a willingness to learn and contribute to the wider team.

Helping our business grow and succeed in a challenging and changing environment, you’ll be responsible for:

• Carrying out damage assessments on all types of vehicles within the Digital Light Motor and Private motor space.
• Ensuring vehicles are repaired within service standards along with managing and mitigating the cost of repair and reinstatement.
• Developing professional relationships with vehicle repairers and parts suppliers throughout the country.
• Working in collaboration with the claims team to ensure understanding and resolution of any technical matters.
• Completing repair and total loss reports in accordance with reporting criteria.
