Digital Marketing & Content Co Ordinator

The Opportunity

We have a great opportunity for a talented Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our small and friendly support office team. Reporting to the General Manager and working alongside the Marketing Co-Ordinator you’ll be providing support with our marketing and communications strategy, through the development, maintenance and execution of our social and digital marketing content / campaigns as well as manage our Betta Electrical website content and systems.

You will play a key role in developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our products and services by executing campaigns, managing digital platforms, and engage with our stores and customers to drive brand awareness and sales. 

This is 20 hours a week and is a 6-month contract initially with the potential for extension. This is a great chance to help shape our online presence, engage with our audience, and drive growth.  You’ll be responsible for: 

• Contribute to the development of digital plans, and be responsible for implementation across web, google analytics/ads/email marketing, social media channels
• Assist with maintaining and optimizing the Betta Electrical websites, including content creation, loading, and proofing.
• Ensuring new and existing product content is up to date and in line with the new product release process.
• Supporting website, digital and social projects and creating website, digital and social content.
• Actively looking for consistency and user experience improvements of Betta Electrical websites.
• Manage the day-to-day scheduling and monitoring of social media.
• Managing website, digital and social monitoring and analytics.

The Fit

We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about marketing technology and has a good grasp on how to build brand loyalty & drive sales through digital platforms.  You’ll be a creative person with the ability to brainstorm ideas and generate creative solutions to marketing challenges. To succeed in this role you’ll also need:

• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn 
• Preferred tertiary qualifications in Marketing and Graphic Design
• 1+ years in a Marketing role, preferably with digital experience.
• Developing and implementing compelling digital marketing initiatives, strategies, and campaigns and creating engaging content for social media, EDMs, website, blogs, etc. 
• Expertise working across a range of platforms and channels including all social media, google ads and CMS platforms. 
• Skills and experience with website maintenance.
• Monitor and analyse key metrics for various marketing channels 
• Help to maintain our database  
• Competent across the main Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of graphic design software such as InDesign/ Adobe Creative Suite
• An understanding of WordPress, Big Commerce and Optisigns is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an eye for detail 
• Ability to priorities and juggle multiple projects at any one time.
