  • About the role:

    The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing, measuring and optimising performance digital marketing campaigns (Google Search, programmatic and social media activity) to drive growth and profitability.

    This involves reporting on results, recommending adjustments to maximise performance, and achieving key metrics such as conversion rates, ROI, and customer acquisition costs. This role requires a data-driven approach to strategise, implement, and refine digital marketing campaigns to meet business objectives.

    More specifically, you will:

  • Develop and implement data-led digital performance media strategies to optimise conversion rates and minimise cost per acquisition costs across key media channels.
  • Manage the execution of the Always-On lower-funnel paid media strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand requirements.
  • Work closely with partners to adopt best practices from Meta, Bing and Google, ensuring all recommendations are tested and implemented.
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the accurate management of campaign budgets and financial reporting.
  • Identify and manage compliance and privacy policy formation.
  • Maintain consistent communication with the Brand and Digital teams to ensure seamless integration of digital campaigns.
  • Oversee the tracking and reconciliation of all performance investment activities.
  • Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends and technologies, implementing new strategies as appropriate.
  • Monitor Competitor activity and analysis to uncover opportunities which gain market share.
  • Ensure that all digital campaigns align with the broader marketing strategy and contribute to overall business goals.
  • About You:

  • Tertiary Degree in Business or Marketing Desired
  • 2-4+ years marketing experience in a similar environment (either Client or Agency side) with a focus on digital marketing and/or customer marketing. Executing digital media – SEM, Display, and Social
  • Knowledge of the Australian publishers/digital networks
  • Understanding of digital analytics and marketing automation technology
  • Highly effective communication and consulting skills
  • Ability to identify future trends and developments in digital for the marketing team.
  • Exposure to ROI marketing management
  • The ability to develop actionable business opportunities from analysis of multiple datasets.
  • Key Capabilities:

  • Agency/Consultancy based experience – advantageous.
  • Expert in managing and implementing digital performance media programs (SEM, Display, Social)
  • Excellent strategic planning skills to drive business benefit and maximise opportunities.
  • Excellent understanding of the evolving marketing technology landscape
  • Thorough understanding of ad serving platforms such as GMP
  • Ability to predict future trends and developments in digital for the marketing team.
  • Expertise in defining digital analytics, managing attribution and data driven marketing strategies that deliver demonstrable business outcomes.
  • Ability to communicate complex and detailed information simply and effectively.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Highly effective communication and consulting skills.
