The Opportunity | Te āheinga

Key Responsibilities | Ngā haepapa matua

• Translate approved priorities into a coordinated programme of ICT projects that are clearly scoped, sequenced and resourced.


• Drive delivery performance across the portfolio, ensuring projects meet agreed timeframes, budgets, quality standards and intended outcomes.


• Provide leadership across the full project lifecycle, from initiation through to transition into business use.


• Apply consistent governance, planning, business case and reporting standards, enabling timely and informed decision‑making.


• Lead financial and commercial management across delivery, including procurement and contract oversight.


• Lead and develop the team, setting expectations, strengthening capability and holding people to account constructively.

Essential Skills and Experience | Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako

• Proven experience delivering multiple ICT or business transformation initiatives in complex environments.


• Strong people leadership capability, including coaching, performance development and building positive team culture.


• Ability to balance oversight with hands-on delivery when required.


• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.


• Sound understanding of governance, project delivery practices, and commercial management.

You can expect to start in this 3-year fixed-term, full-time role with a salary of between $120,786 - $130,180.
