See more of what we do here .The Director of Sales is responsible for managing a team of account executives and account managers charged with sales to State or Local prospects and customers.What your impact will look like: Meet sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actionsAccomplish sales human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees in assigned territory; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions, planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and proceduresAchieve territory sales operational objectives by contributing relevant sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining sales system improvements; implementing changeEstablish sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota in support of national objectivesMaintain and expand customer base by counseling account executives and account managers; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunitiesRecommend product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitorsUpdate job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networksAccomplish sales and organization mission by completing related results as neededYou will love this job if you have: Confident, competitive, thorough, flexible, and tenaciousProven to be capable of managing a team of 8-12 sales peopleCapable of coaching a selling team responsible for $100K+ deals as part of a diverse sales pipelineGoal-oriented and self-motivatedExcited about managing multiple simultaneous priorities in a fast-paced environmentIndependently accountable for commitments and delivering the best performance by intelligent prioritizationProven in your ability and passion for managing prospecting activity volume and related metricsPassion for public sector successClient focus – the desire and ability to understand the drivers of client needsExceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and oralSignificant accomplishments selling enterprise software, ERP, SaaS, Marketing/Communications technology, or marketing servicesSuccess selling to State and Local government entitiesImpressive track record of C-Level sales activityDemonstrated effectiveness selling through partners, resellers, and/or integrators3+ years of field sales management experience in IT, Information Services, or Business Services and 8+ years of total field sales experienceSecurity and Privacy Requirements ·Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program.·Responsible for ensuring the data privacy of our employees and customers, their data, as well as taking all required privacy training in a timely manner, in accordance with company policies.Don't have all the skills/experience mentioned above?
