The Tiwai Hauora Group is on a path of growth, breaking new ground by establishing new services, and developing existing services
The Position:
The Director of Social Work & Therapeutic Services is a senior leadership role within Tiwai Hauora, supporting the Principal Advisor: Operations by leading the development and delivery of therapeutic social work services throughout the Raukawa takiwā.
This role will have a strong leadership focus requiring well proven operational and stakeholder relationship skills. The Director of Social Work & Therapeutic Services will represent Tiwai Hauora at senior stakeholder levels, negotiating contracts and new services with stakeholders, and will champion our innovative Raukawa practice approach, ensuring service delivery and quality are responsive and at a very high level.

The successful applicant will have a minimum of five years’ experience in the field of therapeutic services (such as Social Work, Mental Health, Counselling /Therapy) Qualifications in a related field would also be an advantage, as well as experience delivering services within a Te Ao Maori context with the ability to provide exceptional practice leadership and management of high-performing teams.
Applicants must hold a valid and full Class 1 drivers’ licence and be prepared to undergo Police vetting.
