The morning starts of with the daily huddle which sets out the plan, notices, health & safety You will then be on a narrow aisle forklift picking all items for dispatch and taking them to the dispatch zone. You also will be co-ordinating with Production to make certain of things coming out on time. You could also be getting items ready for production so we can hit our dispatch to our customers on time! Then it will involve palletising the product, strapping it, performing quality checks and then booking the freight. Following that, as trucks arrive, it will be loading the trucks Final of the day is completing KPIs, daily 5S and any improvements that need to be made. Hours of the role is approx. 6.30am to 4.30pm Key Responsibilities: Daily Dispatch: Ensure all sales orders for the day are packaged and ready for pickup by the freight truck. Proactively investigate and handle any add-on sales orders promptly and efficiently. Assembly: Assemble products to meet our customers' needs using various tools, either in the dispatch area or our factory. 5S and Lean Improvements: Maintain cleanliness in your work area and propose daily improvements to enhance work efficiency and quality. Communication: Collaborate effectively with team members in dispatch, warehouse, and factory to fulfill your responsibilities seamlessly. Qualifications and Skills: Forklift license and proficiency in operating forklifts. Basic computer skills with a willingness to learn computer systems. Proficiency in basic assembly hand skills. If you know how to fix your bike, basic maintenance on your car, you could ace this! Experience in dispatch and warehousing preferred but not required.
