This position is fulltime permanent, and the successful candidate will be based from our Vulcan Stainless Steel Profiles site in East Tamaki.

You will be assisting with operating the gantry crane and setting product in place for the machine operators to load the plasma and CNC machines. You will also assist with clean up and the loading of product onto the truck due for dispatch out to clients.

This role is on our day shift 6am - 2.30 pm Monday - Friday Please do not apply if you are unable to do these hours/days.

We have opportunities for overtime available.

• You will need to have excellent attention to detail
• Forklift licence
• You will need to be reliable
• Have a full class 1 licence
• Able to work overtime
• Good level of physical fitness
• We would be keen as time progresses to up skill you to team leader
• Ideally you will have Gantry Crane experience - however we are happy to train you
• Ideally come from a production/manufacturing background
• open to learning new skills

We pay an hourly rate with time and half for overtime hours above 40. Other benefits available also such as free parking onsite, company gym and EAP support.
