Our client is seeking a Disputes Resolution Solicitor or Associate to join their team in beautiful Nelson! This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide legal advice on a range of civil litigation matters, with the support and guidance of a dedicated team. This mid-sized firm is well set up to serve their clients’ needs but are in growth mode, so could look at anyone from a junior solicitor up to Associate level.

What you'll do:
As a Disputes Resolution Solicitor/Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing legal advice on various civil litigation matters such as disputes over business contracts or debts, disputes between neighbours, contracts, civil wrongs to people and property and employment issues. You will manage your own workload, but have the support and guidance of a dedicated team. Reporting to a Partner and working closely with barristers, you will ensure that all litigation work is completed effectively.

What you bring:
Given the growth in this area, our client is open to seeing expressions of interest from solicitors from 2 years’ PQE up to an Associate level. You’ll need to be NZ qualified and have experience already working in a litigation or disputes resolution role. Your strong interpersonal skills will enable you to support your team members, fostering an environment where everyone can thrive. Above all, you are committed to delivering meaningful outcomes for clients.
