Te tūranga – The role
You will lead the project document control and information management activities across a complex project here at Te Pūtea Matua.
In this role, you’ll establish and maintain robust information management frameworks, processes, and guidance to ensure information is created, stored, accessed, and shared securely and efficiently. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to maintain e-document control standards, implement new processes, provide advice on information classification and access, and ensure strong compliance with security requirements.
You’ll also play a key role in supplier onboarding, due diligence, and continuous improvement. Identifying risks and strengthening document management practices across the programme.
This is a fixed term position through until September 2027.
Ō pūkenga – About you
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
At least 7 years experience with NZ Government’s Protective Security Requirements
security classification system, handling and protecting official and protectively marked
information. Strong knowledge of protective security requirements and handling sensitive information
At least 7 years experience in the area of building project documentation and software
applications.
Proven ability to design and implement document management frameworks and processes
Experience working across multiple stakeholder groups, including external suppliers
Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance and influence senior audiences
Experience with document management systems such as SharePoint, Teams, BIM360 or similar platforms
Sound judgement, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset
Understanding of, or willingness to engage with, Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Te Ao Māori perspectives
Eligibility to obtain and maintain an appropriate level of national security clearance.
