Drainage Operator

The Role:
We are actively seeking a capable and driven Drainage Operator who is eager to do the hard mahi and use their skills to deliver world class infrastructure. You should have experience in shields and finishing.

Our Waikato team are currently delivering a 30,000 m3 bulk earthworks stage as part of our Southern Gullies project. These are big works that need confident operators to keep our productivities and morale sky high! 
If you want to be a part of tight knit crew that's moving serious dirt with some complex access challenges then this is the role for you!

About You:

Ideally have 3+ years of relevant experience in civils projects involving earthworks and drainage

Experience in trenching, placing trench shields, sheet piling, well-point de-watering and excavating around live services

Full and clean drivers license with WTR endorsement

Ability to operate wheeled, tracked and roller heavy machines

Experience on 5-30 tonne machines including Excavators, Hi-Rail Excavators, Hydremas and Rollers

Clear understanding of Health and Safety standards and procedures

In-depth knowledge of construction activities and equipment

Ability to read drawings, plans and Inspection Test Plans

Willing to get stuck in with a great team and knows how to tell a good joke
