Duty Manager

Duty Manager –We have an amazing opportunity for someone wanting to get their foot in the door as a Duty Manager at St Clair Golf Club. This role will support the Catering Manager with the day to day operation of the Café and Bar, across a range of service types including corporate meetings and functions to the day to day operation of the Café.

The day-to-day responsibilities in this role include: 

• Customer Service
• POS, Barista and Bar Service
• Bar Stock ordering and rotation
• Ensure compliance with onsite Liquor Licence
• Basic Food preparation on some days
• Daily Cash Ups

To be Successful in this role you must be/have:

• A current NZ Resident, or hold a current valid work Visa
• Have current LCQ and Managers Certificate
• An excellent communicator, a customer centric people person
• Able to problem solve quickly
• Attention to detail with meticulous organisation skills
• Proven time management skills
• Have an eye for detail

This role requires the successful candidate to be able to work a roster across 7 days including at least 1 weekend day. Most work will be Tuesday to Saturday and may include Sunday and Monday shifts as needed. Shifts may vary from week to week depending on event requirements. This role has a guaranteed minimum of 25hrs, which can be increased within other areas and extra shifts for the right candidate.
