Duty Manager/Barista/Server

Back dropped by the Remarkables Mountain Range, Jack’s Point is a truly authentic and unique destination from which to experience Queenstown’s stunning scenery.  Jack’s Point Clubhouse is situated on the edge of Lake Tewa, surrounded by Jack’s Point championship golf course which is billed as one of the world’s most spectacular golf courses.

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Duty Manager/Barista/Server to work with our team in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospitality operations.  The successful candidate will be able to lead the shift to ensure the service, presentation and atmosphere for our guests is exceptional.

You will have:

• Strong operational experience, ideally with some of this being at a supervisory level


• Excellent barista skills


• Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, multi-task, lead, direct, and solve problems effectively 


• Able to assist with developing and motivating a talented, dedicated team


• Able to suggest and implement improvements to the operation and encourage the same in the team


• Passion and drive for ensuring exceptional and authentic customer service 


• Strong verbal communication skills for dealing effectively with all types of customers and personalities


• Able to work days and shifts that match the business needs, including weekends


• Experience with event execution would be an advantage


• Friendly and professional with a high level of presentation


• A current General Managers Certificate, or a minimum 6 months experience in a licensed premises in NZ plus the LCQ or willingness to get this qualification with us
