Duty/Shift Manager - Supervisor

A leading franchise market leader in providing healthy nutritious food through enormous selection of healthy deli meals, great coffee, delicious cakes and sandwiches.

We are currently looking for an experienced Cafe Shift/Duty Manager/Supervisor who can work in & with a fast paced, fun loving, strong and successful Team at Henderson. We are looking for someone who has strong NZ Cafe/Restaurant experience. We are open 7 days a week from 6am - 4pm weekdays and 7am - 4pm weekends. We currently have 3 roles available, one in Henderson store for a Cafe Duty Manager, one for a Barista in Henderson store and another for a FOH/Barista role at our Manukau store.
 

We are looking for someone with a ‘Can Do’ & ‘Will Do’ attitude and hands on Experience. This job is a full on role requiring a dynamic personality to deal with whatever day-to-day routine throws at you.

As a Duty Manager/Supervisor:  we are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to lead our front of house team. You will be in charge of doing training and motivating other staff members, overseeing cleaning schedules, stock control, ordering and day to day cost controls.

You will need to be a self starter and show initiative in running a cafe.  Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in hospitality.  

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow and develop their skills in hospitality.  We are keen for someone who wants to take ownership of the role - coming up with ideas for promotions or ways to increase sales.

As a Barista: The role will include operating till, serving and clearing tables, serving cakes, pastries and cabinet food to customers. Making exceptional coffee is an essential part of this role.

Remuneration will be comparable to the Market.
