eCommerce Specialist

Airpoints is New Zealand’s largest and most valuable loyalty programme, helping turn dream experiences into reality. We’re looking for a motivated eCommerce Specialist to join our Online Retail team. In this role, you’ll shape how members earn and redeem Airpoints Dollars, working with great brands and making sure our Airpoints Store delivers a best-in-class experience.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for eCommerce, ability to handle high volumes in a fast-paced environment, an excellent understanding of customer behaviour, and a proven track record of implementing successful strategies to enhance customer engagement and retention. Your role will work across many aspects of eCommerce to offer exciting rewards to our Airpoints members. 

About the role: 

• Develop and launch promotions with supplier partners
• Upload and manage product ranges and content on our eCommerce site
• Use analytics to recommend product selection and improve conversion
• Work with marketing, developers and customer service to deliver seamless campaigns
• Contribute to site enhancements that improve customer experience and drive transactions
• Monitor results and share insights to optimise future campaigns

Our ideal candidate: 

• You will be an experienced and driven eCommerce specialist with solid knowledge of eCommerce, and CMS systems
• A good command of digital analytics platforms to leverage data and customer insights to optimise digital conversion
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment, with multiple and changing priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and team player skills with an ability to confidently communicate at all levels of an organization both internally and externally
• Commercially savvy with a good understanding of what drives online sales
• Ability to handle high volume processing tasks in a fast-paced environment
