About us
The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners is, a medical college that is the post-graduate training organisation for doctors wanting to specialise in general practice and rural hospital medicine, and a membership organisation. Our 80+ operational staff support our College members with an aim to improve health outcomes and reduce health inequities.
About the role
The Delivery GPEP1 team assists and supports the first year of the General Practice Education Programme (GPEP), where doctors train to become general practitioners (GPs).
Our work includes delivering the programme working with regional medical educators (including monitoring of assessment submissions), administering written and clinical examinations and making sure those activities meet high evidence-based standards.
The Education Coordinator is an administrative and logistics-focused role which works closely with key stakeholders, including our medical educators, to help coordinate the delivery of the programme across the country. The role will also include supporting the organisation of College education events, including seminars, College examinations, relevant workshops and medical educator days.
