About the Role Trical Ltd has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team based at our factory in Wiri, Auckland.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for designing and managing production of custom switchboard projects. As part of our custom design engineering team, you will have exposure to multiple forms of electrical engineering, from small domestic boards to large commercial solutions, while keeping in mind customer needs and legislation.

About You

Along with your strong work ethic and your previous experience in a similar position you:

• Must have permanent rights or AEWV to Work in New Zealand 
• Proven experience in design and project management within the electrical manufacturing industry or power distribution.
• Local experience in Basic CAD, Excel, electrical theory and basic hand tool/machine operation
• Strong knowledge & understanding of Switchboards 
• Strong verbal & written communication, with good organizational & time management skills 
• A positive attitude and great hands-on skills 
• Practical experience as a former switchboard assembler or electrician would be an advantage.
