About the position: The SHOTOVER Electrical Engineering team is focusing on high-end airborne video acquisition and processing systems. We are looking for a talented and motivated senior developer with at least 3 years of experience in the field of electrical engineering to help build the next generation of mission equipment and high-end stabilised imaging systems.
SHOTOVER are particularly interested in Engineers with experience interfacing camera sensors using MIPI CSI-2, SLVS-EC, high speed digital and optical interface, and SOM carrier boards.
SHOTOVER is smallish in size but globally recognised and everyone contributes with minimal supervision. We are looking for a hard-working, creative, smart, self-managed, and a ‘get-it-done’ type of person. Responsibilities:
Develop high quality, innovative and cost appropriate engineering and product concepts
Help bring an idea from concept to a product
Design, implement and debug software, firmware, digital and analog circuitry
Integrate between software, firmware and hardware components
Required Skills:
3+ years experience practicing as an electronics engineer
Experience with circuit and PCB design for microcontroller-based embedded systems
Schematic capture and PCB layout with Altium Designer
DC to DC converter design
Design of system-level wiring diagrams
Design of cable drawings for production
Experience using an MRP system such as Ostendo
Understanding and application of EMC design techniques.
Excellent communication skills
Excellent documentation skills to support the handover of designs to production and customer service departments
SMD soldering skills and hands-on experience with lab tools
Hands-on experience building prototype products and wiring harnesses
Essential qualifications:
A degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
Desirable skills and prior experience with:
Avionics design experience
High speed circuit and PCB design
Motor drivers
