We are currently recruiting for an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). This is a permanent full-time position based in Helensville.

Roster vacancy: Hellensville 4 x 4 DDNN Red/Brown EMT Roster

We are looking for individuals who are adaptable and can settle into our team with ease, work alongside paid and volunteer staff and provide a high level of care to our patients.  

This advertisement is for staff with existing EMT ATP to work as an EMT in the Auckland District. This is not an application for a Paramedic Pathway and does not enoll you in the Graduate Paramedic Pathway. Staff who have graduated are able to apply and will remain eligible to apply for the Graduate Paramedic Pathway should it be advertised.

Ko wai koe - About you:

• Current St John Authority to Practice at EMT level 
• Excellent operational and clinical performance to date
• Excellent driving record
• Local area knowledge is desirable
• Have maintained your volunteer and/or casual commitment throughout your journey with St John to date
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
• A genuine commitment to the wellbeing of others
• The ability to work under pressure
• Evidence of CCE
• Demonstrated behaviours that align with St John's core values - Do the right thing, Side by side, Straight up, Make it better, Open mind
