Job Description - Engineer Surveyor

Job Description

Thisis a fantastic opportunity to join our team based in Rotorua andprovide high quality and timely inspection and certification services to our customers in the Upper North Island region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspection of boilers and pressure vessels in accordance with NZ Regulations and Standards.
  • Inspection of Cranes in accordance with NZ Regulations and Standards.
  • Welding inspection in accordance with NZ Regulations and Standards.
  • This will involve inspection at client sites across Tauranga and surrounding regions.
  • Identify and assist in developing and securing both new business and new business opportunities.
  • Provide training and mentoring to trainees when qualified to do so.
  • 40 hours a week with overtime opportunities

Qualifications

  • Experience in surveying or inspection of boilers, pressure vessels.
  • Experience in surveying or inspection of cranes preferred but not essential.
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering/relevant Technology or Sciencepreferred but not essential.
  • Certification Board for Inspection Personnel (CBIP) Qualifications in a relevant discipline would be ideal.

  • A full and current New Zealand driver license.
