What you'll be doing: We are looking for an Engineering Development Manager to join a Kiwi Success story and help them on their journey through both existing and new product life cycles. Are you passionate about bringing ideas to life; transforming them into real working products?
What you will be doing: - Be responsible for resourcing, planning, and execution of development.
- Develop and contribute to the R&D group's overall capability.
- Manage a team consisting of Cloud Engineers and Embedded Developers
- Given this is a global organisation you’ll need to regularly collaborate with other contributors both locally and offshore.

What you'll need to be successful: - Prior experience leading development teams
- Background ideally working with Embedded Platform development/hardware products and cloud development.
- Good understanding of architecture
- Proven experience in Project Management to work with manufacturers.
- Ability to adapt change and provide innovative solutions
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to lead and motivate others to achieve their goals
- Team player with great communications skills
- Excellent problem solver
- Experience with Agile and MVP
