Engineering Manager

Position Overview:
As the Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the development and execution of our clients’ technical projects. Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing, you will oversee all plant engineering functions, including: preventative maintenance, adhering to Lean methodologies and ensuring ongoing improvement is taking place. This is a leadership role and as such, you are expected to lead from the front, implement change and readily embrace the values and culture of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers, providing guidance and support to help them reach their full potential.
• Assist in the Management of our clients; health, safety and risk by ensuring the drivers of safety are adhered to across multiple sites.
• Ensure reliability of all production and plant equipment in a cost-effective manner
• Manage capital and improvement projects across multiple sites.

About You:
You are a strategic thinker with a results-orientated mindset, capable of aligning engineering efforts with broader business objectives. If you have least 5-years’ engineering management experience and the below requirements we would love to speak to you:

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in a leadership role, with a track record of successfully leading and motivating engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Computer literacy with SAP/JDE is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
