Enterprise Data Architect - Dynamic Team

The Opportunity:

This is a unique chance to become a pivotal part of a large, multi-year project aimed at transforming a leading enterprise based in Auckland. As an Enterprise Data Architect, you'll be tasked with reviewing and clarifying the current state of our enterprise data platforms. Your mission will be to propose a comprehensive roadmap and investment plan to transition to a target state that supports our strategic objectives. 


Key responsibilities include:

• Analysing requirements from critical initiatives that need to be accelerated within our data landscape.
• Identifying gaps in our data lake that could drive organisational value, such as consumption data and gross margin calculations.
• Developing an approach for near real-time data integration to establish a single source of truth for applications, AI, ML, and analysis.
• Resolving discussion points around cloud adoption and the overall data landscape.
• You will also work closely with our existing architects and data team, providing guidance, coaching, and career development support.

Your Experience:

• Proven expertise as an Enterprise Data Architect with a strong grasp of the latest trends in data architecture.
• Deep knowledge of data platforms, data lakes, and integration strategies, including Lambda architecture.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders.
• Experience in identifying and addressing gaps in data ecosystems to drive organisational value.
• Ability to articulate and resolve complex technical discussions around cloud adoption and data strategies.
• Commitment to coaching and upskilling team members.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6-month contract - possible extension
• Start Date: Immediate start
